Four or five genuine belly laughs, which are always welcome.

I have to say though, for someone who frequently mentions he ‘doesn’t know’ (Agnostic), he constantly asserts the non-existence of God (Athiest), an equally untenable position to hold. The other glaring inconsistency is the humour masking the great seriousness with which he edits his message together. A foot in either boat isn’t a very strong basis for constructive debate.

Technically, there are far too many edits in each interview to know what the subjects really said or believed, which is a shame because the topic is actually fascinating. His greatest revelation though was almost a throwaway line (*spoiler alert*) and that was “I don’t think people are afraid to admit flaws in their religion. Just afraid to admit them to *outsiders*”. Using this as his basis, allowing his subjects to actually speak occasionally and showing more respect to them would have illuminated an audience far better, and yet still have been great ammunition for the fervently anti-religious who gave this film its five star reviews. This film preaches only to the severely converted, like myself, and even I cringed as he sucker punched his subjects.

In any event, he’s a funny man, it’s an OK film but it’s not going to set the world on fire. (Whoops, *spoiler alert*)

- Janis McGavin

"Although my specialist field is Musical Theatre, the universal approach Paul takes to all areas of acting allows for a very relevant application to a genre traditionally not associated with strong 'legitimate' actors. Classes were always challenging too, which is always great for the aspiring actor.”
